@val We worked with CBT in Kochkor, who got us a van ride to, yes (now that I'm looking at the map again), Kyzart, where we picked up our horses at some little house. It was my first time on horseback (without being tethered to a post) and I had the time of my life; felt like I'd done it many times before (my horse was obviously extremely well-trained). We spent out first night with a shepherd family somewhere in the jailoo before crossing the last pass and staying in a tourist yurt camp by the lake. Our guides were young and energetic and super cool. They definitely knew the snow was coming and had us as in front of it as much as they could. I wouldn't trade that experience for anything. I followed one of them on instagram for a few years before I quit the platform. Sort of miss him, now that I'm thinking about it. I love keeping up with your experiences in the country!!
